…to reach our city with the love of Jesus. Reach City Church is a multicultural, multigenerational church in the greater Tampa Bay Area. We exist so that people can have a genuine experience with the presence of God and become part of a community of faith.

Our Pastor

Johnny Honaker is the Lead Pastor of Reach City Church, a multi-cultural church based in Riverview, Florida. Along with speaking at conferences all over the world, he is the author of The Enemy in You. His vision is that every family in the greater Tampa Bay area be impacted with the love of Jesus. Johnny and his wife CC have been married for 35 years, have two children and 3 grandchildren, and make their home in Riverview, Florida.

Our Story

In the spring of 2001, Johnny and his wife, CC, launched a church in Riverview. At the time, it was one of the least populated areas in Tampa Bay but they knew that they heard from God and took a step of faith knowing that God was going to use them to reach the city for Jesus. Since then, Reach City has expanded into a thriving multigenerational and multicultural church as people from all walks of life have joined the Reach City family.

Johnny and CC have a love for this city and their dream is for every family in the greater Tampa Bay area to be impacted with the love of Jesus. They believe that this is just the beginning of what God wants to do and that together, nothing is beyond our reach.

Johnny and his wife CC have been married for 35 years, have two children and 3 grandchildren. Johnny loves to travel, play racquetball, and hang out with his grandchildren.

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired word of God. It was written by human authors who were guided by the Holy Spirit and is without error.

The Trinity

The Father sent his Son, Jesus, who gave his life for our salvation. Jesus then sent the Holy Spirit as an advocate as a comforter to us. There is only one true God, revealed in three: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Salvation

No matter a person’s past, anyone can be saved through the faith of believing in Jesus and his resurrection as payment for our sin.

The Church

The Church is a community of believers that come together to fulfill the mission of the gospel in reaching the lost with the message of Jesus. The church gathers together to glorify God and fulfill his purpose.
